Banestes operations are focused on offering loans to individuals as well as small, midsized and large companies. The bank offers a wide range of products to its retail customers that include:

• credit cards (Visa and the own brand Banescard);
• consumer credit (auto loans and for retail purchases); and
• financing for goods and equipment, etc.

Banestes offers its corporate clients products tailored to their specific needs, such as:

• onlending of financing from the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES);
• rural credit to agricultural and livestock producers;
• leasing for machinery and equipment;
• credit lines to companies, especially working capital, overdraft facilities and supplier and vendor financing;
• advances on trade bills and receivables; and
• asset management, collections and cash management services.

To complement the loan portfolio and offer clients a wide variety of products and services, the Bank also operates in the foreign exchange market, offering products focused on import and export financing, such as advances on export contracts (ACCs), advances on foreign-exchange contracts (ACEs), letters of credit and other products.
