Banestes has been in the spotlight since 2003 thanks to its results and it therefore became necessary to create an area focused exclusively on investor support. In 2007, the Bank set up its Investor Relations Department (GERIN) which handles all relations with internal and external stakeholders regarding market trends and their impact on the company's shares (BEES3 and BEES4), in addition to the management, together with the shareholders, of these assets.
GERIN's work is designed to meet the market's need for speed, transparency and availability and it constantly seeks to establish closer relations with Banestes' investors and prospective investors, as well as all the company's other stakeholders.
The department's main challenges are:
. To handle the company's communications with the market, financial press, academic community and shareholders;
. To contribute to corporate strategic plans in order to add shareholder value;
. To continuously assess market trends and their repercussions on the company, fostering internal discussions and discussions with partners, anticipating trends and alternative options;
. To plan and execute mandatory and voluntary information disclosure activities;
. To maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, market entities and institutions, stock exchanges and over-the-counter markets;
. To promote the integration of the communication programs among the different areas;
. To monitor the evaluations and analyses of the company, as well as the trading conditions of the companys securities;
. To coordinate and monitor shareholder services and shareholder meetings; and
. To hold public and individual meetings with stakeholders whenever opportune.
Our role is therefore to ensure that all those associated with the capital market can accurately evaluate the companys finances, operations and strategies. We also manage expectations and make every effort to improve the quality of the services we provide. |
